Black Stars and St Gallen goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi is enjoying his holiday after participating in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Ati Zigi has been a regular at St Gallen this season, making 14 appearances, keeping two clean sheets, and conceding 21 goals.
He was named as Ghana’s first keeper ahead of the World Cup after Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori and Charlton keeper Jojo Wollacott were ruled out of the tournament due to injuries.
Wollacott missed Charlton’s 3-3 draw against Burton Albion after injuring his finger in the warm-up.
Lawrence Ati Zigi received high praise from football pundits and Ghanaians after his outstanding performance in the post for the Black Stars of Ghana.
Ghana exited the tournament early after winning one game against South Korea and losing two games against Uruguay and Portugal in the group stage.
