Ghana will no longer host the WAFU Zone B Africa U17 Championships qualifier as earlier planned.
The West African state has been stripped off the hosting rights reportedly over alleged government interference in the administration of the sport.
Niger has been earmarked as the new hosts but this will be ratified by CAF in the coming days.
The tournament is a new format being employed by CAF to have all regional blocks duly represented in the U17 Championships.
Per the new format, only the winners of the regional tournaments would qualify for the CAF U17 finals.
Ghana will compete against seven other countries in WAFU Zone B for the sole qualification ticket to the Africa U17 Championships to be hosted by Tanzania.
