The Club World Cup‘s updated structure has been revealed by FIFA, the world football governing body.
FIFA made the announcement of the expanded competition that will begin in 2025 on Tuesday, February 14.
The CAF spots have been doubled by four, according to a brief statement released by FIFA on social media.
FIFA has now given CAF four berths, as opposed to the one formerly allocated to CAF for the CAF Champions League victor to represent the continent.
The new format means that 32 clubs from various continents will be competing in the FIFA Club World Cup from 2025 onwards.
