Forest Green’s FA Cup tie with Birmingham postponed over waterlogged pitch

A flooded pitch at the Bolt New Lawn has forced the postponement of Forest Green’s FA Cup match against Birmingham.

After significant overnight rain in Gloucestershire, the surface did not pass a 9.45am assessment.

Forest Green tweeted: “Following a pitch inspection, today’s game against @BCFC has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.”
