Karela United winger Emmanuel Owusu Boakye is reportedly looking to depart the club due to a strained relationship with the club’s leadership.
The player has allegedly applied for a floating status as he seeks to leave during the current transfer window.
Owusu Boakye, a key member of the Karela United squad, is said to be discontented with the club’s leadership, particularly following accusations against some senior players after their narrow win and heavy defeat against Steadfast FC and Bechem United, respectively.
Since the incident, Boakye and other key players have reportedly not been participating in training to be considered for game selection.
The winger is now aiming for a move away from the club, with Nations FC, Samartex, Bibiani Goldstars, and Bechem United mentioned as potential preferred destinations.
Despite the reported issues, Owusu Boakye has made eight appearances this season, scoring two goals and earning two Man of the Match awards, including one against Hearts of Oak.
