Ecobank now official sponsor of 2023 AFCON

Ecobank, a prominent Pan-African banking group, has been welcomed as the newest official sponsor of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (“AFCON”) Côte d’Ivoire 2023 by the Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”).

This partnership aims to strengthen Ecobank’s connection with the millions of Africans who will be celebrating the excitement of football during TotalEnergies CAF AFCON Côte d’Ivoire 2023.

Operating in 35 African countries, Ecobank has a presence in 16 of the 24 African nations participating in the tournament.

The President of CAF Dr Patrice Motsepe said: “CAF is proud to welcome Ecobank as the latest official sponsor of the AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire. One of our objectives is to ensure that CAF Competitions are exciting and appealing to fans and broadcasting spectators in Africa and globally and contribute to the growth and success of our Sponsors and Partners.”

The highly anticipated TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Côte d’Ivoire 2023, the most prestigious football event on the continent, is set to commence on Saturday, January 13, 2024, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
