On the night of June 28, football enthusiasts in Lagos were left in awe as they witnessed an extraordinary goal scored by Victor Osimhen, the talented Nigerian and Napoli striker, during a friendly match with his friends.
Osimhen, who had recently returned to Nigeria after assisting the national team in securing a 3-2 victory over Sierra Leone in the African Cup of Nations qualifying match held in Liberia, has been warmly welcomed by his fans.
During his visit, the Super Eagles star took the opportunity to reconnect with his roots. He paid a visit to the primary school he attended and also revisited his childhood home in Olusosun.
There, he engaged in meaningful discussions with the people he encountered, reminiscing about his past and sharing his experiences since becoming a successful footballer.
According to a video spotted on Twitter, Osimhen got a pass from one of his friends on the pitch and he immediately fired the ball inside the net.

Fans who were in the stands were surprised and some of them were heard asking if it was really Osimhen who scored the goal.

Reacting to the goal, Asiwaju Lerry made it clear that many won’t really know how good Osimhen is until they pay with him on the same pitch.
Meanwhile, Osimhen has been linked with a move to the Premier League with Chelsea and Manchester United said to be interested in his services.

After a successful season in Serie A with Napoli winning the Scudetto for them after 33 years, Osimhen returned to Nigeria to spend his holiday and he has been going from one place to another.
The former Lille star has also visited his childhood house in Olusosun and also the primary school he went to where all the people around those two environments were happy to see the football star.
