Daniel Amartey congratulates Jamie Vardy on EPL achievement

Ghana international Daniel Amartey has congratulated striker Jamie Vardy for scoring his 100th goal in the English Premier League in Leicester City colours.

On Saturday, July 4, 2020, the English forward was in action against Crystal Palace and achieved the feat by scoring to help the Foxes defeat the Eagles 3-0 in the English Premier League.

Soon, Leicester City officially tweeted to applaud the striker for achieving that milestone.

With congratulatory messages coming in for the attacker, his teammate and Ghana defender Daniel Amartey has also joined in.

A post on the Twitter page of the Black Stars asset has said: “congratulations champ”.

Jamie Vardy with his new milestone has become the first Leicester City player to net 100 goals. He joins the long list of players to have scored that number of goals, making him the 29th player since the English top-flight league started.
