Chris Hughton, the coach of the Black Stars, attended the Akwasidae festival just hours after arriving in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti region, for his official unveiling and Ghana’s match versus Angola.
Mark Addo, vice president of the Ghana Football Association, and Akwasi Agyemang, deputy chairman of the Black Stars management committee, accompanied Chris Hughton to the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi for the Akwasidae festival.
At the gathering where the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II meets his 52 divisional chiefs to make merry and talk about how the kingdom may advance, his first assistant coach, George Boateng, was also present.
It's a beautiful sunny day in Kumasi and it's Akwasidae too 🤩
