Chelsea is reportedly willing to offload midfielder Conor Gallagher this summer, as they have received interest from both Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United for the England international.
Tottenham, in particular, is in need of homegrown players and might be considering Gallagher as a potential replacement in case Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg departs for Atletico Madrid.
West Ham, on the other hand, has a significant budget of around £105 million ($134 million) after selling Declan Rice to Arsenal, making them potential contenders for Gallagher’s signature.
It’s worth noting that the 23-year-old midfielder has previously been linked with a move to Newcastle.
Chelsea, on their part, are looking to strengthen their midfield and have been linked with Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
As a result, they are willing to part ways with Gallagher, who is open to a move to secure regular playing time.
The player is yet to receive a new contract offer and currently has two years remaining on his existing deal with Chelsea.
It is not clear how much Gallagher would cost but he is now an established Premier League midfielder, becoming a key player during a loan at Crystal Palace in which he played 39 times and scored eight goals.
He made 35 appearances for the Blues last term, scoring three times.
Gallagher will hope to finalise any move before the start of the 2023-24 Premier League season.
