Asante Kotoko and Burkina Faso side Rail Club de Kadiogo will battle it out in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
The first leg takes place from September 9 to 11, 2022, while the second leg is slated for September 16 to 18, 2022.
The winner will play whoever emerges victorious in the game between Gaborone United and AS Vita Club in the next round.
On Wednesday, the Porcupine Warriors will begin pre-season training in Accra and will travel to Turkey on August 14th to complete preparations for the next season.
The team will play Nigeria’s Rivers United in Turkey as part of their preseason tour.
For the first time since 2006, Kotoko has focused its efforts on reaching the Champions League group stage (also known as the money zone).
They have so far recruited Ugandan forward Mukwala Steven Dese, and goalkeeper Frederick Asare.
