Borussia Dortmund is open to the idea of selling Youssoufa Moukoko should a suitable offer arise for the young talent, as reported by Bild.
Moukoko, at 18 years old, has fallen to third place in the pecking order among strikers, with Niclas Füllkrug and Sebastien Haller ahead of him. So far this season, he has only managed 47 minutes of playing time.
This situation is far from ideal for both Moukoko, who desires more playing opportunities, and Borussia Dortmund, who had high expectations for his development when they secured his services on a long-term contract until 2026 back in January.
Before that contract extension, Moukoko had been the subject of interest from top-tier clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
If Moukoko’s playing time doesn’t see improvement in the coming months, it’s likely that links with one or more of these prestigious clubs will resurface.
