Black Stars starting XI in Madagascar game

Richard Ofori is set to start as the goalkeeper and captain for Ghana in the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar in the next few minutes today.

This marks his return to the starting lineup since September 2021.

In defense, Daniel Amartey partners with Nicholas Opoku, while Gideon Mensah and Alidu operate as fullbacks. The attacking trio consists of Jordan Ayew, Antoine Semenyo, and Inaki Williams, with Mohammed Kudus supporting from behind.

In the midfield, Baba Idrissu and Abdul Samed Salis will play a crucial role. The much-anticipated FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifier is scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium at 4 pm.
