Beşiktaş has secured the services of English footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, aged 29, on a three-year deal through a free transfer, subsequent to the conclusion of his contract with Liverpool.
The announcement was made by the Turkish Super Lig club on Monday.
During the previous season, Oxlade-Chamberlain faced challenges in gaining sufficient playing time, participating in only 13 matches for his former team, based in Merseyside.
His association with Liverpool began in 2017, transitioning from Arsenal.
Over his tenure, he played in a total of 146 games for the club and contributed 18 goals.
Besiktas disclosed that they will be compensating Oxlade-Chamberlain with an annual sum of €2.5 million throughout the entirety of the three-year agreement.
Having earned 35 international caps and netted seven goals for his national team, Oxlade-Chamberlain’s journey with the England squad began in 2012.
