Besiktas eye Ghana’s Bernard Mensah

Besiktas are eyeing a summer move for Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah, Footballghana.com can confirm.

The 25-year-old has emerged as star in the 2019/20 Turkish Süper Lig and has impressed hugely for Kayserispor.

Mensah has scored two goals and registered two assists in his last five games for the Turkish side and has caught the eye several clubs in Europe.

Be?ikta? tried to sign to the Ghanaian in the winter transfer window but the move fell through as the struggling side rejected the offer.

As a result, he has been the subject of intense transfer speculation with other clubs expressing interest in signing him in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Besiktas have held talks with Kayserispor over the possible transfer of the former Atlético Madrid ace but they are unwilling to meet his €3.6m fee demanded instead they are ready to offer two players in a swap deal.

Mensah has previously played for Vitória de Guimarães, Atlético Madrid, Getafe CF and Kas?mpa?a.
