Ghana international Bernard Tekpetey has been adjudged as the Best Foreign player in Bulgaria for 2022 at the just ended 62nd football awards held in Sofia.
Tekpetey has been instrumental for Ludogorets, who currently sit second on the league table with 47 points after 18 games. They are one point behind log leaders, CSKA Sofia.
The 25-year-old has scooped the best foreign player award in Bulgaria for his outstanding performance in the top-flight.
He has scored 10 goals and provided 7 assists in 33 matches for Ludogorets.
The enterprising forward joined the Bulgarian giants in 2021 from German side Schalke O4 on a two-year deal.
Despite his exploits in 2022, the forward was omitted from the Black Stars for the World Cup tournament in Qatar.
