Benab FC close in on Middle League qualification after securing 10 straight wins

With their victory over relegation-threatened Kumasi City on Saturday, Benab FC extended their remarkable run of success in Division Two.

Benab FC’s victory over Kumasi City marked their tenth straight triumph, and they are getting closer to securing a Middle League berth as a result.

The “EverythingByGod” team earned the maximum three points thanks to goals from Prince Balladom and Umar Nuhu in each half.

Less than five minutes after the game’s start, Benab FC’s young attacker Prince Balladom got the score going.

Kumasi City responded seven minutes later after Kudus headed the ball in his own net.

After the break, the “EverythingByGod” side kept pushing for the winner, putting a lot of pressure on the visitors.

Taylor was denied by a wonderful goalkeeping before Alhassan blasted his shot wide.

Benab finally took the lead on the 67th minute through youngster Umar Nuhu.

The midfielder headed home a cross from Abdul Rashid to restore Benab’s lead.

Benab, despite late pressure from the visitors, held on to their lead until the blast of the final whistle.

The win takes Benab closer to sealing a spot in the upcoming middle League

Benab currently leads second place team Kharis Sports Academy nine points with just three games to go.
