Lille defender Tiago Djalo has instructed his agents to explore a potential transfer to Juventus as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio.
The 23-year-old, who started his career with Sporting CP and had a brief stint at AC Milan, joined Lille in 2019 for €5 million.
Despite receiving acclaim in Ligue 1, a cruciate ligament injury has kept him sidelined since March last year.
With Djalo now in the final six months of his contract at Lille, other clubs may seek a discounted deal this month.
While Inter Milan initially planned to sign Djalo on a free transfer in the summer, Juventus could expedite the process by offering a modest transfer fee of €3 million plus add-ons.
Although he was part of Portugal’s initial 55-man squad for the 2022 World Cup, Djalo has only been capped at the under-21 level.
