Felix disclosed that he willingly accepted a significant reduction in his salary to enable his transfer to Barcelona on the final day of the transfer window.
So far, he has made five appearances for Barca, scoring three goals and assisting two more.
Deco commented that he isn’t astonished by the forward’s impressive start at Camp Nou.
“I’ve known him since when he started to play in Portugal,” he said. “I’ve seen him play at Benfica. He has always been a different player, with a distinct quality. Much has been said about his price and much less about his game. I’m happy he is enjoying playing with us.
“The important thing is that he is happy, enjoying himself and that he is contributing important things not only on the pitch but also in the locker room. He is a spectacular person, and we are all happy with him.”
