Ajax coach, Alfred Schreuder has revealed that there are no talks between his outfit and Everton over the signing of Kudus Mohammed.
Reports emerged last week the 21-year-old could be on his way to Goodison Park this summer due to lack of playing time.
However, Schreuder has denied such reports insisting Mohammed Kudus will be staying at Ajax.
“I think he should not leave,” he told Voetbal International after the game between Ajax and Sparta Rotterdam.
“You can see that he is important. We need a lot of good players,” he continued adding I haven’t heard anything yet.”
The former FC Nordsjaelland playmaker came on as a second-half substitute in the 1-0 victory on the road, playing the final twenty minutes.
Mohammed Kudus has an outstanding pre-season, scoring three goals in three games before netting the Dutch Super Cup game against PSV.
Despite his rich run of form, the Black Stars ace only makes the bench at Ajax.
