2022/23 Ghana Premier League matchday 5: Great Olympics see off Medeama SC with a 1-0 win

The fifth matchday of the 2022–23 Ghana Premier League season was finished by a match between Great Olympics and Medeama SC.

Today, Monday, November 7, 2022, the two teams squared up at the Accra Sports Stadium in an effort to earn a maximum of three points.

In an exciting contest that ensued between the two teams, neither side could get on the score sheet at the end of the first half.

After recess, both teams played very well in the quest to fight for the vital goal to inspire an eventual victory.

In the end, it is Great Olympics that got the better of Medeama SC.

 

A strike from Yusif Abdul Razak in the 80th minute has propelled the home team to a narrow 1-0 win at the end of the contest.

Courtesy of today’s victory, Great Olympics are now third on the Ghana Premier League table. Meanwhile, Medeama SC have dropped to 12th on the log.
