Teacher suspended after allegedly forcing pupils to ‘masturbate and hand over their semen’

The Eastern Cape Education Department has reportedly suspended a teacher for allegedly forcing pupils to masturbate.

It was alleged the teacher from Mdingi Junior Secondary School also took the pupils’ semen, TimesLIVE reported.

According to Eastern Cape Education Department spokesperson, Malibongwe Mtima the teacher was suspended, and the matter was being investigated.

“It is alleged that the teacher made learners masturbate and took their semen. We got reports from two pupils last week. Upon gathering information, we found other possible victims are in grades 6, 7, 8 and 9,” the report quoted Mtima as saying.

eNCA reported that the teacher forced the pupils to ejaculate into a container, resulting in his being suspended “for taking biological practical’s a little too far”.

Eastern Cape police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli confirmed they were investigating two counts of sexual assault, the report said.

“Police can confirm that [the] family violence, child protection and sexual offences unit is investigating a case of sexual assault (two counts). This comes after two schoolchildren alleged their educator sexually assaulted them between February and October this year,” said Nkohli.

Reports indicated that the teacher was known to the police and that his arrest was imminent.
