Nigeria 2023 elections: Peter Obi victorious in Lagos

In Lagos, Nigeria’s most populous state, Peter Obi of the Labour Party has been proclaimed the victor of the presidential election.

In order to overcome Bola Tinubu of the APC, who received 572, 606 votes, Mr. Obi received 582,454 votes.

PDP candidate Atiku Abubakar finished third with 75,750 votes.

In Lagos, where Mr. Tinubu has a significant amount of political control and influence, a total of 1,347,152 persons were accredited to vote.
