Assistant pastor in Kenya passes away during an encounter with hook up girl

David Kiplangat, a 60-year-old elder who also served as an assistant pastor at an SDA church in Ketitui, met an unexpected demise while spending an evening at a lodging in Kapsoit, located in Kenya’s Kericho region, accompanied by a female companion.

The lifeless body of Kiplangat was discovered by the woman, who promptly informed the lodging’s management before fleeing the scene.

Belgut sub-county police commander Charles Kibati reportedly confirmed the incident, stating that Kiplangat was found dead with no visible injuries and without any clothing.

A used contraceptive was found at the scene.

He was found dead with no visible injuries. He had no clothes at the time,” he is quoted to have said.

The body has been moved to the mortuary of the Kericho County Referral Hospital, where an autopsy is planned.

Meanwhile, investigators are actively pursuing leads to locate and identify the woman who was in the company of Kiplangat.

This tragic incident is not the first of its kind in the region. In a similar occurrence last year, a Catholic priest from St. Peters Ruai passed away under mysterious circumstances in a hotel.

The priest, accompanied by a woman described as his girlfriend, was rushed to the hospital after feeling unwell. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

According to the earlier case’s police report, the priest’s girlfriend had alerted the hotel management when he started feeling dizzy and unconscious.

The priest passed away in his car, with white foam oozing from his mouth and nose.

Subsequently, the body was moved to Mater Hospital mortuary in Nairobi for autopsy, and the food and drinks consumed during their night out underwent investigative analysis.

As authorities delve into the circumstances surrounding Assistant Pastor David Kiplangat’s death, similarities with previous incidents raise concerns about the safety and well-being of individuals, especially those in religious positions, while engaging in personal activities outside their pastoral duties.

Investigations are ongoing to unravel the mysteries behind these unfortunate events.
