Video: Heartbreaking! See how a policeman lost his life after allegedly chasing a ‘lawless’ okada driver

A devastating scene captured in a video shared by X (formerly Twitter) user @Dek360Ghana is the lifeless body of a police officer on a motorbike who is said to be chasing an Okada driver for a traffic violation.

According to the tweet’s caption, the Okada driver broke a law and the policeman drove his motorcycle in pursuance of the rider. This happened at Tech Junction, Kumasi.

Unfortunately, they both met their untimely demise after ramming into a truck packed along the road with no proper signage.

In the video, the Okada driver lies lifeless in one lane of the road as cars drive past him, while he appears lifeless and hooked onto his bike.

The policeman is also seen lying on his back on the bike on the tarred floor, bleeding profusely from his head, with a part of the bike sliding under the ‘unlawfully’ parked truck on the shoulder of the road.

Viewer discretion is advised.

  1. This is just to tell all Ghanaians that when ever a security officer saw any truck on the road that has a problem they have to call for a towing car to position it well but in Ghana Zero , this is not the first time this happened in Ghana
