Poll: 66% Ghanaians think Mahama honours campaign promises better than Akufo-Addo

The 2020 election is fast approaching and the flag bearers of the major political parties in the country are doing massive campaigning to the win the heart of Ghanaians.

Due to the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, major percentage of the whole campaign is taking place on social media, television stations and FM stations. Campaigns comes with promises which candidates use to convince Ghanaians to vote for them.

Once the candidates are still making promises towards the 2020 Election, is only right that the public has the chance to judge which among the them honours his promises. Yen.com put a Facebook poll to compare the flag bearers of the two major political parties in the country; National Democratic Congress and New Patriotic Party.

John Mahama recently made a shocking revelation that president, his successor has failed woefully in fulfilling his “lofty” promises made to Ghanaians. He also said President Akufo-Addo has now turned around to call his promises visions for Ghana.

The Facebook soliciting the views of Ghanaians on the subject reads: “Between John Mahama and Akufo-Addo, who is better at keeping campaign promises?” With hundreds of people commenting, 66% Ghanaians revealed that John Mahama is very good at honouring campaign promises than Akufo Addo
