Ogyeahohuo Yaw Gyebi II secures another term as President of National House of Chiefs

Ogyeahohuo Yaw Gyebi II has secured another term as President of the National House of Chiefs after a decisive victory over Osaagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II.

Gyebi II received 42 votes, while his opponent managed 30, with one ballot declared invalid.

In the race for the Vice President position, Buipe-wura Abdulai Jinapor II emerged the winner with 52 votes, outpacing his three rivals.

The election process faced delays due to extended discussions over a legal challenge brought forward by Nana Samgba Gyafla, the Chief of Sampa.
