GES to recruit 2022 College of Education degree graduates

The Ministry of Finance has granted clearance to the Ghana Education Service (GES) to commence the recruitment of the 2022 cohort of trained teachers who completed their studies at public colleges of education nationwide.

Consequently, the GES is inviting applications from eligible individuals seeking employment opportunities.

This latest recruitment drive by the GES specifically targets trained teachers from public colleges of education who obtained their First Degree in 2022.

According to a press release issued by the office of the Director General of GES,“The Ghana Education Service is requesting applications from qualified trained teachers who graduated with a first degree from only Public Colleges of Education, to be considered for employment.”

The GES further specified that applicants must have graduated from a College of Education in 2022 without any outstanding examinations or referrals, completed their mandatory National Service, passed the National Teacher Licensure Examination, and be willing to work in any location where their services are required, as per the employment criteria.
