Flashback: Aside your quick temper, you’ve not changed – Kwami Sefa Kayi to Napo

A video has emerged featuring Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, commonly known as NAPO, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running mate, during an interview with Kwame Sefa Kayi on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo show.

In the clip, the host posed a critical question to NAPO, asking whether politicians and government officials are aware that their tenure will eventually end and if they consider the implications of their decisions and actions while in office.

Kwame’s question stemmed from a story told by NAPO on how his pastor who visited him on a Friday to invite him fo a harvest service died late Sunday while resting from leading the church’s harvest service.

He advised the need to consider one’s ways life comes with so many uncertainties.

Consequently, Sefa Kayi inquired if holding power influences their personalities including NAPO or if they remain genuine and honest in all their dealings.

Citing his relationship with the host, he threw the question back at Sefa Kayi to give his opinion of his personality whether he has changed since assuming power.

In response, Kwame specifically addressed NAPO’s temper, mentioning that while NAPO has largely remained the same, his irritability and occasional sudden outbursts are notable exceptions.

“NAPO, apart from being easily irritated, you haven’t changed. Your temper is the only problem. Sometimes, out of the blue, you can just explode,” said Sefa Kayi.
