The family of Ghanaian music producer Eric Nkrumah, known professionally as Unda Beatz, has set the dates for his funeral ceremonies. The events will begin on Friday, November 29, with a wake-keeping at the School Kessim Astro Turf in Mankessim.
Following the wake-keeping, a burial service will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the same location. After the service, he will be laid to rest at the Ajumako Mando Cemetery.
The ceremonies will conclude with a Thanksgiving service on Sunday, December 1, 2024, also at the School Kessim Astro Turf.
The family invites all who knew and loved him to join in paying their final respects.
At just 33, Unda Beatz made a lasting impact on the Ghanaian music scene. He collaborated with top artists like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Yaa Pono.
His work on Stonebwoy’s “Top Skanka” and “Sobolo” was particularly noteworthy, with “Sobolo” earning the 2021 3Music Highlife Song of the Year award.
In addition, his exceptional skills led to a nomination for Instrumentalist of the Year at the 2019 Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
