S3fa officially part ways with Black Avenue Muzik label after 6 years

Afrobeat artist Sefa Abena Amesu, known as S3fa, has announced her departure from D-Black’s Black Avenue Muzik after six years with the label.

In her statement, Sefa shared her appreciation for the label, acknowledging that her time there played a significant role in shaping her career and giving her the platform to gain recognition.

She expressed gratitude for the experiences and opportunities that helped her grow as an artist since signing with the label in 2018.

“When I joined Black Avenue Muzik, I had dreams of sharing my music with the world. Over the years, I’ve grown, collaborated with amazing talents, and connected deeply with my fans. I’m grateful for all the opportunities and experiences.”

Originally signed to a five-year contract, Sefa chose to extend her time with Black Avenue Muzik for another year, believing there was more to accomplish with the label. However, she now feels it’s time to move on and explore new opportunities as an independent artist.

Sefa expressed deep thanks to her fans for their continuous support throughout her career and promised to keep creating music that resonates with them.

Her decision to leave has sparked interest in what her next steps will be, but her fans remain hopeful about her future, confident that she will continue to rise as one of Afrobeat’s leading stars.
