Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari recently opened up about the traumatic experience of an armed robbery at her home while she was on set filming.
Speaking on 3 Music TV’s The Big Conversation on November 1, 2024, Nadia recounted receiving a distressing phone call that alerted her to the break-in.
“During the time we were filming, I was going through a lot personally. So I wasn’t focused on my lines. Even while on set, my home got robbed. We had to film so I had to ignore it, pretend nothing had happened,” she said.
Nadia, famed for her role in “Beyoncé: The President’s Daughter,” also talked about the challenges of balancing her responsibilities as a mother with her filming schedule.
“I’m a hands-on mother. We usually start shooting around 6 PM and wrap up around 5 AM.
I rush home to get my kids ready for school, drop them off, then do some house chores before picking them up later. I had little time to rest while on set,” she added.
