Others are trying, but so far Stonebwoy is our biggest export – Bullgod

Controversial entertainment pundit and artist manager, Lawrence Asiamah, popularly known as Bullgod, has hailed Afro-Dancehall/Reggae sensation Stonebwoy as Ghana’s top music export at present.

On Wednesday, October 24, 2024, Stonebwoy officially launched his sixth studio album, titled Up & Running, which includes the smash hit “Jejereje.”

The album’s unveiling took place at a glitzy listening party at the Alora Beach Resort in Laboma Beach, Accra.

The star-studded event drew numerous celebrities, including Bullgod, actress Nadia Buari, TV personality Nana Ama McBrown, rapper Kwaw Kese, and musician D-Black.

Sharing his thoughts on the album, Bullgod noted that while several Ghanaian artists are gaining international recognition, Stonebwoy has set himself apart as the nation’s most prominent music export.

He credited this to Stonebwoy’s continuous hard work and the far-reaching influence of his music both in Ghana and globally.

Bullgod, who once managed the self-proclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale, praised the “Manodzi” hitmaker for his consistency and success on the world stage.

“These days when we have to push our artistes…management needs clearance to push our artistes internationally; so far he is our biggest export… Others are trying, but so far Stonebwoy is our biggest export.”
