‘I’m sorry for indecent exposure in pool video, I’ll wear kaftan next time’ – Simi to critics

Nigerian musician and songwriter Simi, also known as Simisola Kosoko, recently revealed on the “Zero Conditions” podcast that she primarily listens to music by her husband, Adekunle Gold, and her own songs.

She mentioned enjoying Adekunle Gold‘s music due to their marriage, adding that she infrequently listens to other artists but has liked Post Malone’s debut album ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’ and is a fan of J.Cole.

Simi explained that her current focus is on her newly released album, which naturally occupies much of her listening time.

However, she anticipates her listening habits will evolve over time.

In response to a recent social media controversy, Simi received criticism after posting a video of herself in a swimsuit participating in the ‘2345678’ TikTok challenge with Adekunle Gold, family, and friends.

Some critics viewed her attire as inappropriate for a married woman.
Acknowledging the feedback, Simi posted an apology video where she expressed regret for not heeding her sister’s advice and apologized to her fans for any disappointment caused.

She pledged to opt for more modest attire, like a kaftan, in future pool outings.
