Ghanaian music sensation, Black Sheriff, did not mince his words as he strongly criticized Black Stars player Osman Bukari for a critical mistake that led to the Pharaohs’ equaliser in a recent match against Egypt.
In a social media post, Sheriff expressed his frustration, stating, “Osman Bukari ‘commot’ bench come dash free goal.”
The incident occurred after Osman Bukari was subbed in for Inaki Williams, who had also previously given away a free ball resulting in Egypt’s first goal.
Unfortunately, Bukari found himself in a similar situation, gifting the ball to the Egyptian striker.
As a consequence of his mistake, Bukari was replaced by Joseph Paintsil in the 89th minute, as confirmed by Black Stars’ head coach, Chris Hughton.
Despite initially taking the lead twice, with Mohammed Kudus scoring in the first half and the 71st minute, Ghana ultimately succumbed to defensive errors, relinquishing both advantages in a disappointing turn of events.
