StarTimes have paid part of the sponsorship deal to GFA – Lord Zico

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council Member, Kingsley Osei Bonsu popularly known as ‘Lord Zico’ has ratified that the FA has received $5,000 from StarTimes as part of the sponsorship deal.

The Chinese television has signed a new deal with the GFA following the institution of a new president.

Speaking to OTEC FM, he said, “As a bigwig of Bechem United, I received a message from GFA’s General secretary Lawyer Prosper Harrison Addo that StarTimes have paid part of their sponsorship deal into our (FA’s) account.

“We have received such an amount without fallacy and am sure once I have been told, the General Secretary will therefore, informs all the clubs,” he concluded.
