Kylian Mbappe showcased a stunning performance, scoring a hat-trick as France achieved a historic 14-0 victory against 10-man Gibraltar on Saturday night.
The momentum began with own goals from Ethan Santos and Aymen Mouelhi within the first five minutes, followed by debutant Warren Zaire-Emery finding the net soon after.
However, the joy for Gibraltar was short-lived as Santos was sent off for a foul on Zaire-Emery, as confirmed by VAR.
The onslaught continued with goals from Kylian Mbappe, Jonathan Clauss, Kingsley Coman, and substitute Youssouf Fofana before halftime.
Adrien Rabiot and Coman added more goals in the second half, with substitute Ousmane Dembele contributing a splendid solo goal.
Mbappe secured his brace and completed a hat-trick with a magnificent chip from 40 yards, placing him third in France’s all-time scoring list.
Olivier Giroud and France sealed the historic win with a 13th and final goal, surpassing Germany’s 13-0 victory over San Marino in 2006 in European Championship qualification history.

Mike Maignan (N/A):
It took until the 60th minute for Gibraltar to fashion something of a chance on the French goal. Had virtually nothing to do.
Jonathan Clauss (7/10):
Scored the second-best goal of the evening with a stunning long-range effort but had nothing to do in defence.
Jean-Clair Todibo (7/10):
Like his defensive teammates, he had very little to do and tried his best to attack whenever possible.
Dayot Upamecano (7/10):
I wasn’t troubled at the back but I looked to get forward at every opportunity.
Lucas Hernandez (7/10):
He was always an option out on the left and was unlucky not to get a goal himself.
