West Ham United have officially confirmed Julen Lopetegui as their new head coach for the upcoming season, replacing David Moyes.
Lopetegui, returning to the English Premier League after his stint with Wolverhampton Wanderers, is expected to lead the team from the sidelines at the London Stadium starting in the 2024–2025 season.
Despite Moyes guiding West Ham to success in the UEFA Europa League and securing European qualifications for three consecutive seasons, criticism over recent team performance prompted the change.
Lopetegui has an impressive track record, including winning the Europa League title with Sevilla in 2020.
Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus, a key player for The Hammers, has attracted attention with his stellar performances, leading all players in completed dribbles across Europe’s top five leagues.
