Jordan Ayew has set a record in the history of the English Premier League

Jordan Ayew has continued his impressive form from where he left during the pandemic break. The Ghanaian international has now emerged as the best Ghanaian player to have ever played in the English Premier League when it comes to goals. He sealed this record after scoring against Bournemouth in a two nill win in favour of Crystal Palace on Saturday, 20 June 2020.

The impressive for of the Ghanaian international started last season as he was involved in most of Crystal Palace goals. He was voted the best player of the year at Crystal Palace beating the likes of the sensational ivorian star man, Wilfred Zaha. He has since cemented his place in the first eleven of Crystal Palace benching Belgium striker Christian Benteke. Jordan Ayew is currently and Undoubtedly the best Ghanaian player in Europe.

 The 28 years old Crystal Palace in-form striker, Jordan Ayew netted his night goal of the 2019/2020 EPL season in a 2 : 0 win against Bournemouth. Jordan did not just scored a goal for his side but the goal has made him emerged as the highest Ghanaian scorer in the history of the premier league.

He has now topped Tony Yeboah, one of Ghana’s finest striker to also grace the premier league. Tony played for Leeds United in the 90s netting 24 goals. The record held by Tony has now been broken by Jordan Ayew who scored his 25th goal in the EPL today.

Some other Ghanaians have done exceptionally well when it comes to the Premier League. The likes of Michael Essien, Andrew Dede Morgan Ayew, Asamoah Gyan, Muntari, and so on.
