“I’ve seen something, but I don’t know anything” – Nico Williams on alleged Barca links

Promising talent from Athletic Bilbao, Nico Williams, has discussed his deep bond with the club amidst swirling speculation linking him to Barcelona.

Speaking on Onda Cero’s Radio Estadio, Williams reflected on his upbringing surrounded by Athletic Bilbao’s icons and his current dedication to the upcoming Euro Cup.

He expressed appreciation for the support and mentorship from Athletic Bilbao players who have guided him since his youth.

Williams fondly recalled moments like visiting the locker room with his brother during his cadet and youth team years, where he met renowned players such as Iker Muniain.

“Athletic’s stars have seen me grow up and are very proud of me. My brother took me to the locker room when I was in the cadet and youth teams, and that’s where I met many players, like Iker Muniain,” he said.

Despite the rumors circulating about Barcelona’s interest in him, Williams maintained his focus on the Euro Cup.

“Barça’s interest?” Onda asked Nico again, who replied, “I’ve seen something, but I don’t know anything. I’m focused on the Euro Cup and nothing else… I’m very happy at Athletic.”

According to Transfermarkt, Nico Williams’s current market value is €60,000,000.
