In-form John Boye returns for Ghana clash against Kenya after one-year absence

Ghana defender John Boye has been recalled into the national team to face Kenya in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya after a year absence.

Boye, who plays for French second-tier side Metz, is returning to squad since playing in the 2-1 defeat to the United States in an international friendly in July last year.

The experienced centre-back has been named in a 21-man squad announced by coach Kwesi Appiah on Wednesday.

He is expected to be key for the side ahead of the clash against the Harambee Stars in Nairobi on September 8.
