The Kumasi based club beat Hearts of Oak 4-0 in a two leg friendly played in August and fans of the latter believe their pride is being cheapened and therefore will not play any of such games going forward.

Speaking on the Ultimate Sports Show, Paa Kofi Sumsum stated that, the decision not to play Kotoko is not borne out of fear but beleives the Phobians will be lowering their standards.

“We do not want the team to play any friendly with Kotoko again and it is not because we fear defeat but we feel the rivalry is been diluted and the referees continue to cheat us when we play such games in Kumasi” he explained.
