Despite his recent retirement, former Belgian forward Eden Hazard has proven that his footballing skills remain sharp.
He participated in a charity exhibition match alongside Kylian Mbappe’s father, Wilfried, and left a significant mark on the game.
Hazard, who announced his retirement following his departure from Real Madrid during the summer, demonstrated his prowess by notching a goal and providing two assists during the match.
Hazard played for Varietes CF against Team Calais and exhibited his trademark skills, setting up Wilfried Mbappe, the father of PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe, who seized the opportunity to score the sixth goal for his side.
The match included several other prominent figures, as Hazard partnered with Ludovic Giuly and Arsenal legend Robert Pires in the forward line.
The midfield featured renowned names like Didier Deschamps, Claude Puel, and Yohan Cabaye, while the defence was fortified by Christian Karembeu, former Bayern Munich defender Daniel Van Buyten, Laurent Blanc, and Mathieu Debuchy.
Guarding the goalposts was former German international and Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann.
The charity game managed to raise around £12,900, which will be dedicated to supporting children and teenagers at the Pieces Jaunes hospital.
