#GhPL: Hearts-Kotoko clash scheduled for Kumasi on May 26

Ghana Football Association (GFA) has finalised the scheduling of the highly anticipated Premier League match between Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak, slated for May 26, 2024.

The decision was made by the GFA’s Competitions Department in collaboration with broadcast partners StarTimes and the involved clubs, following careful consideration.

Set to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, this pivotal Matchday 31 fixture promises an electrifying showdown between the two football giants.

Ahead of this showdown, Hearts of Oak will gear up with another league encounter against Aduana FC at the Accra Sports Stadium, while Asante Kotoko will travel to Berekum to face Chelsea on Matchday 30.

With Asante Kotoko currently holding the 10th position on the league table with 40 points and Accra Hearts of Oak closely trailing behind in 11th place with 38 points, the stakes are high as they vie for a higher standing in the league standings.

Their previous clash in the first round of the Ghana Premier League saw Asante Kotoko emerge victorious with a 3-2 win.

As both teams have been ousted from the FA Cup, the upcoming league match holds even greater significance as they strive to conclude the season on a high note.

Here are the remaining fixtures for 2023–24 Ghana Premier League season.
