Ghanaian forward Raphael Dwamena set to join Hannover 96

Ghanaian striker Raphael Dwamena is set to join Bundesliga II side Hannover 96 in the on-going summer transfer window, Footballghana.com can report.

The German second-tier side have expressed interest in signing Dwamena from Levante UD ahead of the start of next season.

The 23-year-old is expected to leave the Spanish side in the summer due to lack of regular playing time.

He made 15 appearances and scored only one goal. registering for Levante UD in all competitions last season.

The HDI Arena could be his next destination despite offers from Real Zaragoza, Real Oviedo and his former club FC Zurich.

He joined Levante UD on a four-year deal from Swiss giants FC Zurich around a transfer fee of six million euros.
