Insiders say the committee, after a meeting with the clubs, has agreed to have a stop-gap competition between the first week of January and end in June before rolling out a full calendar for the 2019/2020 league season due to the AFCON.
However, the competition which is yet to be named will have the Premier League Clubs as well as the Division One League Clubs as participants.
