Former Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves believes Chelsea could lose sought-after youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi to his ex-employers if his playing situation does not improve.
Hudson-Odoi has been subject to a move away from the Stamford Bridge after growing frustration over his playing time under manager Maurizio Sarri despite being touted as the ‘next big thing’ in world football.

Bayern Munich have been named as potential suitors to the teenage as he continues to search for playing opportunities away from the club.
“He has to improve. He has to improve a lot,” he said in his pre-match press conference. “First of all, the defensive phase. He has to work. He has to improve on the offensive phase he’s very good one against one, but he has to learn to move without the ball.
“He is potentially a very good player, and now he has to study and improve and work. But I think that’s really very normal. He’s 18, so that’s normal. I want to find space for him.
Hargreaves added, “He’s an exciting young player,” he said. “Just 45 minutes and how many clips can we show. Every time he touches the ball he makes something happen. He wants more of it.

“He sees the success of Jadon Sancho in Germany and Reiss Nelson on loan from Arsenal. They’re absolutely flying. Not only playing but getting goals and assists.”
