Dreams FC have left Ghana for Conakry, Guinea, where they will play Milo FC du Kankan in the first leg of their TotalEnegies CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round matchup.
The group, which consists of 18 players, a technical team, and management staff and is led by Executive Council Member Frederick Acheampong, took off from Accra on Thursday, August 17, early in the morning on an Asky Airline flight.
Both teams won their respective domestic competitions last season and are now making their debuts in continental football.

In the meantime, Moussa Diou of Mauritania has been named by the Confederation of African Football as the match’s referee. Compatriots Brahim Samed H’Made (Assistant I), Bouna Ndiaye (Assistant II), and Babacar Sarr (Fourth Referee) will be Diou’s coworkers.
Mohammed Tafsir Souma of Guinea has been appointed as the match’s medical officer, and Yameogo Koudougou David of Burkina Faso has been given the role of match commissioner.
On Saturday, August 19, 2023, the first leg of the preliminary round will take place at the General Lansana Conte stadium in Conakry. Kickoff is set for 16:00 hrs.
