Baba Rahman trains with Schalke in Austria

Ghana international, Baba Rahman, has been training feverishly with Schalke 04 in Austria as he looks to play against French Ligue 1 outfit, Angers SCO on Sunday at the Waldstadion Mittersill.

Rahman spent the previous season on the sidelines due to a protracted injury he sustained while playing for the Black Stars at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Gabon.

The 24-year-old was part of the Schalke squad that traveled to Austria to continue with their pre-season after losing to Bundesliga 2 side, FC Erzgebirge Aue in a friendly.

The Ghanaian fullback will be hoping to return to the field in order to have enough playing time in the Schalke squad.

Rahman will be hoping to help his side impress in the UEFA Champions League after placing second in the Bundesliga to qualify for Europe’s elite club competition.
