Some former players of the senior national team, Black Stars, thronged the Adjiriganor Astro Turf on Saturday to join the one week celebration of Christian Atsu.
Former Black Stars captains Asamoah Gyan and Stephen Appiah, Sulley Muntari, Samuel Osei Kufuor, Derrick Boateng were among the few who showed up today.

They each paid their respect to the bereaved family and the sympathisers gathered at the ceremony.

According to the bereaved family, Christian Atsu will be laid to rest on March 17, 2023, and the funeral rites will take place at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
